چکیده

Three lanthanide–transition-metal coordination polymers, namely, [Er2L6(H2O)][Cu2I2] (1), [ErL3][CuI] (2), and [Dy2L6(BPDC)0.5(H2O)4][Cu3I2] (3) (HL=4-pyridin-3-yl-benzoic acid, H2BPDC=4,4′-biphenyldicarboxylic acid) have been made by reacting Ln2O3 CuI with HL at different temperatures under hydrothermal conditions. All the complexes are characterized elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric powder X-ray diffraction, single-crystal respectively. 1–3 all construct from dimeric {Ln2} {Cu2} units exhibit two types of structural features: 1 is a two-dimensional layer, 2–3 three-dimensional frameworks. Interestingly, in situ formation BPDC ligand found structure 3. The distinct architectures these indicated that reaction temperature plays an important role higher dimensional polymers.

Metal–organic and covalent organic frameworks as single-site catalysts

Heterogeneous single-site catalysts consist of isolated, well-defined, active sites that are spatially separated in a given solid and, ideally, structurally identical. In this review, the potential of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) as platforms for the development of heterogeneous single-site catalysts is reviewed thoroughly. In the first part of this art...

Novel Porous Iron Molybdate Catalysts for Synthesis of Dimethoxymethane from Methanol: Metal Organic Frameworks as Precursors

As a novel performance, methanol gas conversion to dimethoxymethane (DMM) in one-step based on Fe-Mo-O (iron molybdate mixed oxides) catalysts with high surface area fabricated by metal organic frameworks (MOFs) precursors was improved. For this approach, at first, Fe(III) precursors (iron (III) 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate (MIL-100 (Fe) and iron terephthalate (MOF-...

Crystalline metal-organic frameworks (MOFs): synthesis, structure and function.

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a class of hybrid network supramolecular solid materials comprised of organized organic linkers and metal cations. They can display enormously high surface areas with tunable pore size and functionality, and can be used as hosts for a range of guest molecules. Since their discovery, MOFs have experienced widespread exploration for their applications in gas st...

Mail-Order Metal−Organic Frameworks (MOFs): Designing Isoreticular MOF‐5 Analogues Comprising Commercially Available Organic Molecules

Metal−organic frameworks (MOFs), a class of porous materials, are of particular interest in gas storage and separation applications due largely to their high internal surface areas and tunable structures. MOF-5 is perhaps the archetypal MOF; in particular, many isoreticular analogues of MOF-5 have been synthesized, comprising alternative dicarboxylic acid ligands. In this contribution we introd...

Alkali earth metal (Ca, Sr, Ba) based thermostable metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for proton conduction.

Three new alkaline earth metal based MOFs have been synthesized by using 4,4'-sulfobisbenzoic acid (SBBA) and alkaline earth metal salts M(NO(3))(2), M = Ca, Sr, Ba. These MOFs exhibit interesting structural diversity, variable chemical stability as well as proton conductivity.
